John Tschop

John plays piano, tin whistle and bodhran

John's favorite Klinger-McFry tune is the Battle of New Orleans, written by Jimmy Driftwood; recorded in 1959 by Johnny Horton. Although the Treaty of Ghent ending the War of 1812 had been signed on December 24th, 1814, news of the peace did not reach the combatants until February 1815, after the Battle of New Orleans had been fought.

When asked about his personal life, John replied, "I have never recovered from the knowledge that I was born in bed with a woman." HIs favorite quote is "these are the good old days."
